HI,
Everything seems to be working, except for the dark screen.
I can see that the battery has 12.4 volts (looking at the voltage box on the running unit) and it's a new battery and all connections are tight.
I can push the power button in and change the brightness, but the brightess setting is almost unreadable. I can also change the screen background and the white background is barely readable.
I purchased the unit in December of 2008 but it doesn't get much use and stays dry.
Never dropped or abused.
Shortly after I bought it, the screen would blink off and on and I sent it in and had it repaired under warranty.
I'm running 5.320 software which I updated a few weeks ago and it worked fine after.
I'm going to call Customer service.
Has anybody got any other suggestions?
Could the software be causing this?
